I do not understand why she had a treatment on my birthday. She did not even celebrate my day with me. I love my boyfriend, but I try to avoid his sister.

or:I agree with polish rabbit. The world isn't out to get you.

or:i understand that you want him to spend that special day with with you but if you like him you accept all about him even his sister they might just taught you a good stuff like helping others that is also a good productive and fruitful way of spending your birthday and you can go bonding with your boyfriends and sister try to understand that is what you can do

or:...Or do you think she made the whole thingup because...well she didn't want 2b there?YOU ARE PRECIOUS !!

or:I didn't see the reason for her treatment or what medical condition she has sometimes treatment can be on different times and days sometimes it can't be helped I would sit down and talk to her and see what happened that it was scheduled on your birthday

or:IV treatments are bad enough without people being upset with you for needing them. Frequently, patients have little or no control over what appointments are available and if she needs an IV treatment on a frequent basis, they are probably spaced a specific way for her safety. Accept that her health is more important than your birthday bash. In fact, a very kind person would arrange a second get together that she would be able to attend. It's no fun missing all the fun.

or:I understand what you're saying, and perhaps she could have done it one day earlier or one day later, and still been fine. Forgive her anyway. But on the other hand, she may not have been able to pick and choose what day she could get the medical treatment, or when it is needed. Try to forgive. I don't think she did it to you on purpose. She is probably a little pre occupied with her health problem. That makes it more difficult to concentrate on things like birthdays.
