My boyfriend's phone is showing that I'm messenging on messenger from a different device ...Why?

So my boyfriend is gone all night working hard and he got ahold of me tonight asking why his phone says that I have been messenging him on messenger f

So my boyfriend is gone all night working hard and he got ahold of me tonight asking why his phone says that I have been messenging him on messenger from like 6 different devices. I only have an iPad and a Samsung phone that I message him from and I don't talk to anyone else or even leave the house so why is this happening....I need answers this is causing serious insecurities for him and is ruining our relationship and could be the end of us if I don't get answers.
