My fiancé & I grew up in 2different states, we're trying to plan the wedding but dk how to do it?

We want a small wedding but still would like our families there, the issue is we currently live in my home State But IN About A Year will be moving to

We want a small wedding but still would like our families there, the issue is we currently live in my home State But IN About A Year will be moving to his home state so we would prefer to do it here. Now a lot of his family won't be able to make it out which I don't feel is fair for me to have my family there if his family can't be. Yet we still don't just want to alope. What's the best option for us? Any opinions, suggestions?

or:Have you considered perhaps trying to secure a marriage location halfway between your home states?Regardless it doesn't really matter where you have the ceremony, what is important is focusing on your relationship with yourself and your partner. If you want your family to come and observe the ceremony, most of the time they will go out of their way to be there.As I questioned earlier though, if you do try to find a point halfway between both states, it might make travel there for both families a lot easier.
