Hi everyone

I have a problem with my laptop where it will not turn on (not exactly, it does turn on but the screen is just pitch black and I can still hear the sounds the CPU makes) once shut down. The only way to turn it on is to unplug and wait until the battery depletes completely and then plug in again. However, the problem will happens again in a circle when I shut the computer down or when it goes to sleep. It is the first time I encounter such a weird problem, any help would be appreciated.

It is a 2 year old Sony by the way. I do have another laptop but I love this one very much.

Thanks

or:Last week i had an issue with my Hp EliteBook 8530p laptop screen not turning on. The computer turn off and then on again, cap lock and wifi lights flashing about 12 times and then stop. I could hear the fans spinning but the screen wont display anything.I try shutdown the notebook, remove the AC Adapter and remove the battery.hold down the Power Button on the notebook for a full minute. Re-insert the battery, plug in the AC Adapter and that did not work for me after several attempts. So i decide to take a step further. here is how to resolve the laptop not turning on problem. it worked for my hp elite book 8530p and i haven\u2019t have no problem since then. Check how I fix it www.techpros.info
