or:It depends how you raised him in wether or not this is normal. I wouldnt just for the fear that he would be picked on at school. Which will most definently happen at his age.
or:I'd say it depends on his maturity level. I don't want to sound too mean when I say this, but most kids grow out of light up shoes around 6 or 7 years old. Even my 6 year old step sister thinks they're \"for babies\"
