i have a windows vista, and i use mozilla firefox. i believe that my antivirus is norton. my computer will NOT LET ME DOWNLOAD any files!! i tried downloading a game that my 16 year old brother plays {IMVU} and a photoshop download for myself, they both run, but it seems like they never fully download because something pops up that says "Blahblah has stopped working." And it suggests to run a solution, or close the program when the program never opened in the first place. HELP?!?!?!?!

or:First of all, Norton is notorious for being a lack-luster antivirus. I would suggest McAfee, Malwarebytes, or Kaspersky.Anyways, I would suggest running a scan on your computer with one of those programs listed above to make sure that there are no malicious programs/files causing this. Once that is ruled out, make sure there are no unwanted programs on your computer. You can see all of the installed programs in your Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. ***BEFORE YOU DELETE ANY OF THE FOREIGN LOOKING PROGRAMS, GOOGLE TO SEE WHAT THEY ARE FOR.*** A lot of the programs that may look strange to you will be crucial for your computer's performance, and your computer could ultimately stop functioning correctly.However, if you are still experiencing problems. Either reset your computer to it's factory settings or call in a professional (usually you would need to call the maker of your computer [Dell, Asus, etc]).Best of luck!
