My boyfriend of over a year just broke up with me after I wrongly accused him of cheating on me. He says I don't trust him and when I say I do trust him he says he doesn't trust that I mean that. He says we can't have a relationship without trust and that this is really hard for him too. He said he still loves me but he's not in love with me anymore. He said our spark is gone but he said it might comeback in a week or in a few months/ year. He said he'll still be here for me and we can still hangout and talk to each other and I'm still his best friend because that doesn't just go away. I asked him what if there's another girl while we are apart and all he said is I have to trust him and trust that we might work this out. I'll admit I've sent long heart felt texts about accepting my faults and all the consequences for my actions. I also said that I want him to get everything he's ever wanted from I'm life and more and I'll always care about him and maybe this time apart is good for us. I tf him I trust that what's meant to be will happen and that I trust one day we will find our way back to one another. I told him I trust that one day we can wipe the slate clean and I told him I trust him. I just have to have faith, believe and trust. He used to respond to my text but he hasn't responded to that one yet. Did I say too much or do something wrong? Should I try no contact? I'm scared that during no contact he'll meet another girl. Is he testing me?
