I asked for December 24th off months ago, and this was after another manager had asked for it off. (There are 3 managers included me and then the general manager) The first got it off but I didn't, although my general manager gave herself it off with multiple days on the side. I get she makes the schedule, but she never had to write her name down to request it off and I think it's unfair for her to get it off even when I requested it off. Unsure what to do.

or:You suck it up because that's the way life is. Some times it's fair and sometimes it's not. In the future if you are the first one to ask for a holiday off ask for it to be approved now so you can go ahead and coordinate your plans with others.
