I recently got hired at burger king. I started on a pay week. They got paid on Monday the 4th, I started tuesday the 5th. their pay week ends sunday and they get paid biweekly. from that tuesday the 5th that I started until the 17th, I worked over 60 hours in two weeks, but received a 158 dollar paycheck? Is this correct? I know some pay at certain jobs sort of rolls over until the next pay day, but in this case I started on a new pay period, so shouldnt I have gotten paid for all 60 hours? Because I calculated that I should have grossed a bit over 530 and after taxes, the pay should have fell to about 440. Something is wrong.

or:What are you getting paid a hour ?If you get paid on the 5th your next payday would be around the 20th I would think of the month then allow all the taxes federal and state if you have state social security Medicare workers comp maybe food as well if it doesn't fall into the sink the nest pay I would bring it up to the boss period it would also depend what your getting a hour.
