No Presents on Birthday?

I might sound a little selfish or somewhat but, when it's my birthday, I don't seem to get anything from my friends, not even a flower or a card. Every year, I always get them something, whether it be a large expensive item or a bouquet of flowers, to show them that I haven't forgotten their birthday and to show my appreciation towards them. Last year on my birthday, I showed up to school expecting at least 1 flower (there's a florist near my school, it doesn't even take long to get there, the flowers there are cheap too, one single flower is $2) or a small gift or a card of some sort. I got nothing, nothing at all, I spend so much sometimes on gifts and they don't even have the heart to return to me a card or anything at all. I can't bring myself to talk to them about it because it makes it seem like i'm selfish. There are around 25 people in the group I hang out with, all girls.
