I tried to buy a bottle of vodca in texas after security check in the airport and was told that this is a regular law, only for if you are traveling domestically? Is this real? Why is there no info on it on the Internet?

or:Yes it's a real thing. For some reason different states have different laws regarding bringing in different kinds of alcohol. In order for you to ship alcohol by ups or usps you have to be a licensed distributor. Don't know why, but there you go. You can view individual state statutes or you can talk to a liquor store and they might be able to tell you.
