On contraceptive implant - Mild cramping and spotting two weeks after period?

I am on the contraceptive implant, approx two weeks ago I had a period and two weeks later I was experiencing cramping..I thought I was going to come on my period again as my periods can be quite irregular, but it was just light spotting.. (Cramping and spotting lasted for a couple of hours)
I just wondererd if this was normal, or if anyone else had experienced this?

or:i think this would be a question for the dr who gave you the implant or mabe his or her staff i can say that i would think a implant would not cause this but if you look at other forms of birthcontrol do the same thing so theres a very big chance the you being irragular and the fact you have the implant it could be one or the other
