Paranormal/ ghostly activity??

About a month ago I was in my bedroom watching a film, It was about 11pm at night and i had the light on...I looked out the window and saw a reflection of my Dad looking at me (my Dad is still alive and well btw!) I couldn't believe what I was seeing, blinked and his face was still there looking back.I looked away and back again and nothing was there.
i'm sceptical and rational by nature, and don't gravitate towards believing in the paranormal, however this didn't feel like something that I just caught a glimpse of for a split second and misread what I had seen...I was looking at him looking back at me for several seconds, (his face was detailed with a doubting expression on his face) until I was so freaked out i had to look away.
About a month before this I woke up to the sound of a flick and my bedroom light was on, my door was shut and i just lay there thinking how the hell it happened.
I just thought it was probably something to do with a loose connection but it has never happened before or since....
I've never had anything like this happen to me before, i'm of sound mind and don't have any mental health issues, and as I said I am a very rational person! I'ts just been playing on my mind as I can't seem to rationally explain it away.
I live 3 stories up with no way for someone to be looking in the window at me, not that my Dad would be hanging of the side of my building, much less any one else! haha
I was just curious what people's opinions of this were?
