... years experience mother's helping infants, and babysitting toddlers and children. i have also taken a babysitting/CPR/First aid class at my local hospital. I am certified in children and infant CPR/first aid/heimlich maneuver. I am very mature and responsible for my age. I also live in Massachusetts where the minimum wage is $8. All of the teenage babysitters that my younger sister has had charge $10-12 per hr. I would also bring games, crafts, and fun ideas, and would be constantly interacting with the kids. Also, I would automatically clean dishes, sweep, organize toys, help kids clean their rooms, etc. I was thinking these prices:

$6 per hr mother's helping ($6.50 for 3+ children)
$8 per hr babysitting ($8.50 for 3+ children)
I also said on the flyer "these prices are negotiable, so please let me know your particular needs!"

What do you think? My friends who dont babysit say 6-7 per hr, but my friends who do say $10. Thanks!

or:You sound like a really good babysitter. Hey here's an idea, how bout I ship my little brother to you. He's nine and and out of diapers! Lol I'm totally joking. But I hope some moms near where you live find out about you.

or:hello i have been babysitting my whole life and now run a home daycare. a fair price is $10 and hour. if its more than one kid i would suggest for every additional kid half price. so for two it would be $15. i live in California and when i was babysitting i would charge $10-12 depending on age and how many. you sound very prepared and flexible i think you would be great at what your doing. just be assertive and when they ask how much be flexible but honest. if you are good at what you do then show it and let them know that you are confident and willing to do what needs to be done. and saying that price is negotiable is great! parents love flexibility, i would tell anyone going into the childcare business to BE FLEXIBLE. but seriously you sound great and qualified and prepared. be confident and relaxed you will get something in no time! good luck!
