A plane crashed Tuesday morning into a car dealership lot in the southeastern Ohio city of Marietta, police said.
It wasn't clear if anyone was hurt, but no deaths were immediately reported, Marietta police Cpt. Aaron Nedeff told CNN Tuesday morning.
"We didn't have any information on the scene about how many people were on board," Nedeff said.
There was a fire after the plane crashed, Nedeff said, but that's since been put out. Though some Marietta officers responded to the scene, the Ohio State Highway Patrol is taking over the investigation, Nedeff said.
State police were on the scene Tuesday morning, and more information will be released soon, they said on Twitter.
Marietta is a city of about 13,000 residents about a 13-mile drive northeast of Parkersburg, West Virginia, and just across the Ohio River from the Mountain State.
