Problem - Should I extend the competition or not?

I started to organize a biggest loser competition. I was sick for a week so members where?not able to weigh in that week. Some members want me to extend it another week because I was not there to weigh them in. Others want it to stay the same because that is what they signed up for. Should I keep the last day the same or extend it out a week due to the fact I was not there to do my duty?

or:I don't know if you can or can't do this but you could extend it for the members that wanted you to extend it and the other people who didn't wouldn't have to go.
