or:My sister had two turtles when I was young, though I do not remember a lot since I was probably six when she got rid of them (set free). I do remember a heating lamp, but I don't think a fan would do a lot of temp change. When a thermometer is in the tank and if you do see a change in water temperature there are heating kits for turtles (for when it's too cold obv).
