Is a relationship, where One doesn't want the Other to care about the One, an ideal relationship? Also, if the One actually cares about the Other?

For example, if I ask him or her about his or her health, but he or she doesn't want me to care. However, he or she cares about my health.

or:If only one person cares about the other, it's not really a relationship. If one person doesn't want the other to care, it's still not a relationship. There has to be care on both sides.
