I go to a performing and visual arts high school, and the other day, my name was not printed on an orchestra program. I'm a pianist so I'm not usually in orchestra, but myself, and three people from a nearby college were asked to help with a certain piece so I volunteered. However, the program listed everyone including the three college students, but not me. I'm not really upset about it, but my parents (dad mostly) are pretty angry. Upon my dad's insistence I talked to the orchestra director and he already apologized sincerely. I really like this teacher- he's a great teacher and he's helped me out a lot in the past, so I'm not upset at all. My dad still is though and wants to voice his unhappiness in person... which I don't want to happen. What should I do??? Thanks in advance :)

or:Go ahead and talk to him. Say that their will be many other opportunities to do these kinds of things and he shouldn't be upset about it. You can never always win.
