or:People give things names, but God is the only one of His kind so he does not need a name. He gives Himself a name for convenience, but mankind is such a mess that nobody knows how to say it. Some people say \"yahveh\" and some say \"jehovah\" but when God spoke his name to Noah, the emperor of China heard a voice in the sky say \"YAHOO\" and he changed his name to that word. Even with that witness, you can't find two people who agree on what God's name is. It doesn't matter at all because the bible says: Psalm 138:2 \"I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.\"
