The U.S. considers the age of 18 to be adulthood. At that age you can register to vote, purchase tobacco products, enlist in the military, get married without legal guardian/parent permission, and participate in adult activities. Why not the ability to purchase alcohol at that age?

or:Of course you should ! The USA is the last country in the world to have a legal drinking age of 21. You should watch a bit by Jim Jeffereys ( stand up comedian ) who highlights perfectly how ridiculous that restriction is.
