Sick Betta Fish??HELP!?
My male Betta fish is not doing to well, according to me. He is always either at the top of the tank or at the bottom of the tank just sitting there.
My male Betta fish is not doing to well, according to me. He is always either at the top of the tank or at the bottom of the tank just sitting there. He is not moving and sometimes he would look like he has a little bump where his kidney is. I let him sit for three days without eating because I thought he was constipated and it didn't really work. He looked faded and sleeping all the time? What is wrong? BTW I have a 2.5 gallon tank and I don't clean the tank super often.

or:If you have a tank under 5 gallons, a Betta just doesn't do well. I recommend getting a filter and a tank that is 5 gallons or above. Bettas LOVE clean tanks and big spaces. They do so much better, live longer, and stay healthy. If you love that fish a lot, then I would bring him to the vet. My bet is that there is probably something wrong internally. Always offer him something to eat encase one day he decides to eat. I am very sorry for your fish. Please tell me how he is. :(
