I have a 8 month old female Shorkie (Shih-Tzu, Yorkie) She got spayed on Thursday the 14th. She weighed 4.96 when we took her in Thursday. She had a very small hernia repaired, got spayed and had 3 k9 puppy teeth removed, needless to say she had a hell of a day for such a tiny girl! Today (7/18/16) she is still very very sleepy which is not her at all. There is a very very small amount of blood from the center of her incision like the size of a pea. Not sure how long they should be out of it for, all of my other females in the past have bounced right back and been great 2 days later. I know her being so tiny may play into her recovery time as well as the extent of her surgeries. Calling vet in am just wanted to see about input here for tonight.
