or:Uh, I think it would take weeks and months before you can start smoking again. There's what you call the oral fixation from acuquit.com wherein you are used to the sensation of having something stuck between your mouth. Surely your doctor advised you to eat soft foods for awhile. Too much movement of your jaw may aggravate the situation. For awhile, why don't you keep those cigarette sticks out of your sight so that you won't be tempted? As for the duration your smoke abstinence, have your go signal to your doctor first before you smoke again.
