or:This is a tough question because there are 5000+ languages with multiple words for God and multiple definitions of God. If we stick with the English world the big 3 "God" religions are Judeism Christianity and Islam. Each of these religions can be divided into multiple sub groups. Like Catholic,Mormon, Jehovah's Witness etc. The list could be endless if you want to get into denominations. There are many more religions that believe in Gods (plural) but I don't think this is what you are asking.

or:The word god is a title and there are many religions that use that title I would like you to look at this scripture. (1 Corinthians 8:5, 6) For even though there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many “gods” and many “lords,” 6 there is actually to us one God, the Father, from whom all things are and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are and we through him.Along with that title religions have names for each one of their gods. That makes perfect sense. Therefore even the supreme one of the universe and who created all things and his name is Jehovah and you can find that name at Psalm 83;18. His name means causes to become. When you pray to him make sure you use his name. We need to have a personal relationship with him. For more info. please go to jw.org.
