Start up business, not sure where to start?

For the last year and half, my cousin and I have been entertaining the idea of starting our own business (online at first). My cousin lives in Mexico and I live in Florida and our idea was to sell handmade pottery items via our start up website and on Etsy. Now, my question is, how would we go about selling the items? Should he send those items to me, at my US address, or how should we go about doing this? The pottery pieces are coming from local businesses in Mexico that make a living off of just selling handmade pottery. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!

or:I'd say let your cousin receive them, because he/she is closer and there is probably a less risk of things getting broken. Or you could get some sent to you or some to your cousin. but i think that is too much hassle. :)

or:Hi,You can start your business at home or your marketing please .

or:Actually, you don't require your cousin to send your the product. you can communicate with those companies that you cooperate with and ask them whether they can offer you drop shipping service, so that you can pay all your attention on running your store.
