I've had my period for almost six years and have always worn pads. I've recently realized how restricting they are so I decided to try tampons. I have tried for the last five months to get one in and I can't! It's incredibly painful just to insert it a inch or so in and my hymen is not intact. I've looked it up a million times, talked to my mom and other girls that I trust and I feel like I've tried everything and nothing has worked. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions on how to solve it?

or:I have the SAME problem as you. I'm 23, always worn pads, wanted to start wearing tampons more.. but I just can't get them in every time. I've done it a few times and they don't bother me, but more often than not I can't get to inserting them in.
