or:you have to put what you earned from your w-2 thats all of them together if they held out taxes you have to put that towards the end the 10k is your personal deduction you take after putting all your information in you don't have to earn that its your deduction after you enter your wages and credits theses things it might be good if you use like turbo tax it walks you through it if you have any exemptions other then your self you have to claim them if you have them if your single you file single if your married you file married filing jointly what ever your status is if you efile you get it back sooner
