or:Hey there, I can think of 2 movies that may fit the bill...The first is called Vanishing Point (1971) Its about a driver delivering a car from Denver to San Francisco...in the movie the driver picks up hitchhikers and out runs the cops. The second (and the one I'm leaning towards being the correct one) is called The Hitcher (1986) Its about a guy delivering a car from Chicago to San Diego. The driver picks up a psychotic hitchhiker that terrorizes and stalks him down the highway while framing the driver for a string of murders. There is a police chase with a helicopter and a cop car. I don't think the car was a stunt car though and its been awhile but I think the driver may have mentioned something about his brother...maybe he took the delivery job so he could visit his brother in San Diego...but i dont remember anything about revenge.I hope this helps you cuz I cant think of any other movies that fit your description. :)
