or:Is he doing a lot of physical work? Has he been exercising a lot recently? If yes then that would explain it, his metabolism is boosted and he needs the extra calories. Alternatively, he has worms... but I doubt that. One thing I do know is that he is not sick, not if he is eating those kinds of foods, high in sugar and transfats.. those are energy foods. If he was ill and eating that he be throwing up as well. Why don't you ask him about it?Oh yeah, the amount he's eating is not massively more than a normal person eats but it is typical of what a stoner might eat over the course of a day if he had the money.. just saying is all.

or:if he's not gaining weight or is losing? this means he has a high metabolism and requires more food, protein and healthy carbohydrates. Some body builders eat twice as much as the average person, but they don't eat junk food of course. Start encouraging him to eat more healthy foods, the foods he's eating right now are not healthy to have all the time. He should be eating more home cooked, balanced meals, and he should be exercising more, 20-30 minutes of cardio 3-4 times a week and weight exercises at least 3 times weekly for at least 15-20 minutes.
