USPS Package going the wrong way???

I ordered a package 1 week ago and i was supposed to recieve it today. The package was sent from Deer Park NY and i live in Queens NY (30 minute drive

I ordered a package 1 week ago and i was supposed to recieve it today. The package was sent from Deer Park NY and i live in Queens NY (30 minute drive). i am tracking the package and it is now located in Texas!! What's going on??

or:The mail system is a little screwy. It's not uncommon for packages to travel halfway across the continent before circling back to arrive at the proper location. I would only be concerned if you don't receive your package within the time frame specified by the seller.

or:i am from australia. Is it marked delivered, or still en route? Sometimes packages take weird detours.
