Weird bug bites?

So last week I got about 3 or 4 bug bites on the outside of my thigh and they were extremely swollen, more than normal mosquito bites I would get. I thought maybe it was just for some reason an extreme reaction to mosquito bites and let them go away. Which took a while and left scars from scratching them so much. This morning I woke up to 3 more bug bites in the EXACT same spot. They are very hard/ swollen and itchy and I'm really concerned it might be bed bugs, but there is no sign of bed bugs on my bed. Any ideas of what these might be from?
