I got my ears pierced about a year ago at Clair's. If you have gotten pierced at Clair's, you may know that they give you a bottle of liquid to clean your ears. When I got them, I was told that when I change my earrings, I have to clean my ears and the earrings I'm going to change it to. However, I went to travel and want to change my earrings but realized I forgot to bring the bottle I got from Clair's. Its been a year since I got it pierced but do I still have to clean it before I cheange my earrings? And if I do, what can I use to clean my ears and earrings?

or:It should be fine to swap earrings after a year, if you have no infection. If you do have an infection you can use methylated spirit (medical alcohol) that you can get in the pharmacy to clean the ears.
