or:Go to your local public meetings and find out what the budget is like. Is the city or county ruuning in the red or black? Is there an extra city or county tax for shopping that can be levied for say 1 to 2 years to help defray the costs?Find out where a park would be most beneficial for a community and is any property available?Can the local budget afford the land and landscaping? How much for a watering system, bathrooms, water fountains, grills, park benches, picnic tables, playground equipment, and possibly a dog park? Sidewalks and lighting?Its one thing to say you need parks its all together something else to figure out how it gets paid for.
