I picked up a girl months ago. Snuck her into my house and had sex with her. A while later, the police called me and told me to come in and ask me to tell me my side of the story. I finally admitted to having sex with her in the questioning. But it was only once, not rape. She told me she was 17, but it turns out she was 15. I haven't talked to her since then, but she texted me and said she was going to participate in pressing charges. What do you think my possible sentencing could be?

or:you being 17 means juvenile court system. Would think probation only. If you were 18, I would think 6 months in jail. Get a lawyer if you can. Public defender should be fine.
or:if you go to court write down everything that happened that night where you met her(the time would also be helpful because certain places wont let people of certain ages there which would help with the age), the conversation(what you were talking about and how conversation led you two to talk about certain things), how you left with her(what was the decision that both of you came up with that you two felt comfortable with when leaving, also if you can prove that you two left the place on friendly terms that's a plus) the time the incident occurred and the time she texted you how many days were they apart because if she clams you raped her why would she still have your number in her phone and se wouldn't get it from the police or the records because right now it is considered a police matter and they would want both parties to refrain from talking to each other unless they are present but keep me posted if you have any other questions feel free to contact me
