What do I do when someone close to me is mean?

I have a cousin that lives really close to me. We used to be best cousin friends. Then a few years ago she has become really mean. Today in the morning she told me to wait for her because she needs to buy a birthday present for her friend. Normally after school I wait for her until 3:40 and if she is not back then I go home by myself. So I thought that would be the same for today. I left a 3:40 because she was not there in the classroom where I usually wait for her. When I went home, at 4:10 I saw that she gave me a message on my phone. We had a big conversation and she was being really mean, telling me that I need to say a sincere apology to her in person, that I'm the worst cousin ever and that if I don't wait for her tomorrow she will NEVER forgive me. While she was texting I was crying because she was being really mean. I also thought she was over-reacting just because I didn't wait for her after school (I done this several times before because she didn't come on time). She was being really bossy even though I'm 5 months older than her. And I'm afraid that if I tell someone she will be more mean to me. (I done that before and she was really mean!). What do I do?

or:well it might be that she isn't thinking of others feelings meaning yours i would have to stick up for myself and stand up to her and tell her how you feel about how she is treating you i would really think about this cause you have the right to speak up she is running you into the ground and trying to control you and the things that goes on others that do theses things don't think about who they hurt and how it feels

or:Look at her point if view maybe she was just really angry at other people so she lashed it out on you and just tell her if you think she is being mean or bossy. This looks like you hate her or dont like her anymore so just dont hang out with her. And since you came late just say sorry to end the issue and be the bigger person. FBA - MUA maybe she was crying aswell because of what happened you never know.
