My parents wont let me get another dog since my last one had distemper should just go pick one up and bring it home and suffer the consequences, or just stay without one and stay up for weeks at a time? (i cant sleep with out a dog being in the bed with me)

or:i have a job i have money saved up, my last dog i payed for all his vet bills his food and etc. they tell me its not fair to their dogs because this is there home.
