or:Never ask non-members to explain anything about members. Members may be crazy, but non-members are liars. (Because only members actually know anything about what they believe.)
or:It is called a Faith marriage, not face marriage.Single members do not date. The man seeks by prayer and reading the Holy Bible if, when and who he should marry within the denomination. The proposal goes to his Elder who shares it with the girl's Elder who gives the proposal to the girl. She seeks the answer by prayer and reading the Holy Bible. The answer is sent back the way it came(thru the Elders). The couple can also be from the same congregation. This is done in secret (the parents may know but not the other church members). If the answer is yes it is shared with close family and then on Sunday after morning services the engagement is announced to the church.The engagements are 2-6 months long. It is more like courting, very chaste.Our church has always practiced Faith marriage and has been very much a blessing. We have about 50 churches in US, Mexico, Japan and Canada. We do A LOT of traveling between the churches. Visitors are always welcomed and we do have a website.
