What is a good, slim backpack for school and tech?

I hate clunky backpacks and I need to replace my old Skullcandy one. If I get a new backpack it needs to be able to hold a 1in. binder, Windows Surface Pro 2, graphing calculator, and probably an external harddrive. I really don't want it to hold any more than that, but, at bare minimum, it needs to hold that much. I am extremely against large backpacks; It's annoying to carry around all day and when I set it on the floor it gets caught on everything.

Price doesn't matter, as long as it's not some kind of "high tech" unnecessary backpack with solar panels and whatnot.
