or:Fleas make animals and people itch really bad. Ticks on the other hand sticks to your skin and sucks your blood. You have to be careful with ticks though because if you rip them off wrong it could still have its head on your/animals skin and it can get infected. Something that you can do instead of ripping it off you can burn it off. Something to help with the fleas is to wash your pet with flea shampoo and you can then buy a flee resisting collar to put around your pets neck.
