What kind of woman lies to her husband about having 70% chance of miscarriage never seeing a doctor?

My wife told me that a doctor in the ER told her she would have a 30% chance of having a healthy baby, and a 70% chance to have a miscarriage. After that she didn't respond all day to my calls or texts. So being the concerned loving husband I am I call every hospital around to find out something, and none of them had ever heard of my wife.
It hurts me that she would lie about this to me, I can only ask why anyone would do this. I guess I am asking what you all would do in my shoes.

or:I don't know why. If I were in your shoes, and knowing that you care about her, I would try my hardest to find her and figure out what's really going on. She's obviously upset about something and maybe even undergoing a personal crisis of some kind, so she needs your help right now. Whatever it is it's probably serious is she would lie to you.
