or:Massage or do some reflex at your dog's head and it will feel him relaxed. You can also sleep with him sometimes.

or:A dog measures the love you give it by the amount of time spent with it(he/she). If you don't spend time with it, the dog will become cold and won't be open to love and sometimes even become depressed. As long as they know you care, they are happy.
