What to know before looking at and buying a tiny house?

My boyfriend and I are looking into buying and living in a tiny house. Although we know a little about the logistics of what it takes to fully live in one, I feel like there is a lot we need to know. Besides someone else s property (family) or purchasing an entire lot (something we want to do in the future) where else is there and what are the legal issues? Also how do the water, sewage, and electricity factors work into it? I want to talk to people who are experts with tiny houses but do not know any personally so please help:)
