What will my new passport come in?

Ive applied for a passport renewal from abroad. The application was turned into the U.S. Embassy and Ill have to pick it up from them. My question is,

or:They should contact you either by phone or us mail what ever is easiest for them they could contact you by mail to just let you know that its ready to be picked up the other thing is it will have the same contents it had the last time you applied.
