Surgery and fear
Surgical treatment often adopts surgery to patients, for whom, surgery usually means a big misfortune. They will have bad feelings, such as nervous or fear, for the coming surgery, which may have a negative effect on process and result of operation.
Surgeries are generally two kinds - diagnostic operation and curing operation, which impose intentions on patients physically and mentally. If given sufficient comfort by doctors, the patients would have a lower tension.
The bad emotions will led to a serious of reactions (i.e. hypertension and shortness of breath) which would influence results and process badly, even result in medical accident.
With the surgery finished, some patients still hold tragic and nervous feeling, especially the people who have malignant tumor. However, there are also some people get happier with the pain eliminated by surgery.
Emotion issue of surgery can be controlled and prevented, instructions of patient’s surgical emotion and self-control before surgery could help to reduce the effect of bad mood on surgery.
