What's happened to my package?

I ordered a phone case from China on November 30th, and it was shipped December 1st. I know shipments from there to the US tend to take a long time, but I have never had a package take 12 days to move from one status. All trackers I have accessed haven't updated since December 2nd, and it says, "Shenzhen, Arrive SFC warehouse in processing". This leads me to believe that it is still in a warehouse in Shenzhen. Am I correct, and if so, why would it be sitting in a warehouse for this long??? Could it be possible they just stopped scanning it due to the volume of packages being sent at this time, and the fact that its such a small package? Or maybe its still going through customs, though wouldn't the status update and say departed warehouse. The only thing the seller says is to "be patient" and "its on its way" lol.

or:It takes at least a week or more to get a pkg from US to Canada. I think you are expecting too much via China.
