My daughter is 15. She's been ignoring me since Thursday. I have done absolutely nothing to her. She hasnt came down to eat anything or get a drink. I go into her room and ask her what's wrong to her face she will either look away or turn her back and not say a word. She's not ignoring my husband though. She has this project thats 2 weeks late that needs to be turned in by Wednesday or it's a Zero.  Her room is a pig-stY. She is currently failing two classes. She laughs at everything though and is generally happy unless she's on her period. She has already had hers this month (how I know is because she doesn't wrap the pads up). She doesn't have a boyfriend, that I'm aware of. My husband said she was flipping out on Wednesday night because I stole a check from her well that check needed to be cashed in and I told her that. She didnt even want to go shopping on Friday with me and her aunt. What should I do about her?

or:you should leave her stuff alone, then she might like you again. also how religious are you ? i have read about and heard from my ministers that a lot of children from ATHIEST parents will eventually become disenfranchised and depressed because there is no spiritual and faith based, positive influence in thier lives. YOU, as the parent should be providing that outlet. Take her to church more often, indulge her in religious teachings. If you dont have the time yourself in the day, then get talkign with your local minister and see if you can arrange for her to attend after school 1 to 1 meetings with him. If all else fails, simply PRAY for god to speak to her. She will find him soon enough and welcome her back to the flock. I can see a good future ahead for you both.but, ultimately, you need to reject your atheism and godless, sinful ways and accept Jesus Christ. Only then will you become a good person and not the tormented soul that you obviously choose to be at this moment in time.Peace and love to you and all your family.
