What’s the best tape for sticking to textured brick walls?

Me and my roommate are trying to decorate are dorm because it’s pretty bland compared to everyone else. So we got Christmas lights because it’s around that time of year. What tape is good for sticking things to brick wall (no duct tape it’s ugly) and does fall off. (I know I could use hot glue but not aloud on walls in dorm)

or:Use Command hooks. You can remove them without damaging the wall or leaving residue. They come in clear which would be best for your brick wall.
