When doing a scalp massage. Am I supposed to move the skin around or slightly touch the skin?

When i do a scalp massage i am never certain if Im supposed to press firmly and move the skin in a circular manner or if I am supposed to keep my fing

or:Using a light touch to start with is great. As you continue the massage using more pressure is good. Using your hands to move the skin is great also... it loosens up the scalp so that blood can flow to the hair follicles, and eases tension
