When I comment on a Facebook page it's visible to me, but not on anyone else's profile?

So I have a new facebook account today. I haven't gotten around to liking many pages or friending people yet, but I've tried commenting on pages and when I looked through a friends account the comments aren't there? But the comments on my profile still look like they've been posted. They've been set to public, everything on my profile is set to public, so I don't get why my comments are only visible to me? I'm not sure how to check if Facebook blocked me and I don't know what I could have done in the space of five minutes to be blocked anyway......... Anyone know what to do?
